Mingo Sanders, they do sell them, and that is the price. I don't know what the P price is. I have the J-45s and love them very dearly

Following the advise, I wrote an email to Becky 3days ago to ask my questions including inductance of pickups, any other options, and wiring schematics etc...

I tried looking for the links for you, but unfortunately, it seems extremely difficult to find even a handful, which I'm sure is the reason nocaster hasn't done it himself - it must be extremely time consuming! Maybe someone could assist you if you had a question and started a new thread - not many people check the stickies with any regularity. I'll post links if I find them. I agree that audio examples for the most part are pointless, but here is a recording using my Aria Pro II with (2) J45's in it. (both "Lead" pups)

I knew someone had installed the pickups on a Carvin 6 string and I checked the specs for the Carvin. Something didn't add up or you were getting no sound from the B and C. But I remembered a glowing review with the 6 string results, so that couldn't be the case.

When I ordered my J-45s for the Carvin 6 string, Bill himself said the absolute maximum string spacing was 3.10". My actual string spacing at the bridge pickup is 3.06", and I get no dropoff on the outer strings. If anything, the outer strings (low B, high C) are a bit hotter than the rest, and this with a 15" fingerboard radius and staggered pole pieces.

I've always been a little confused with specs like:

B/E to G/C String "Spread" (standard bridge and neck):
- 2.960" ( 75.2 mm)
- 2.800" ( 71.1 mm)

I'm pushing the 2.96" measurement and am afraid that I might end up with a dead B or G string. So, is this measurement done from center of string to center of string or outside of string to outside of string? And is that the maximum "safe" string spread or if I had a bass at exactly...

OK - but still confused!

My bass is a Fender Jazz V - made in USA
Got it second hand, and I think its a "American std"
Electronics are all passive.
String spacing is Neck 16,75mm Bridge 17,6mm
Overall Pickup cover size is 100mm/104mm
As far as I know AERO and Willex makes pickups that fits
this bass without having to modify the body or the pickguard.

No, it doesn't mean that. BL doesn't make pups for the Fender *Deluxe 5*, and AFAIK neither does anyone else. That's just this one 5-string model only!

There are two cover sizes, which cater for three of the four possible rout configurations. The fourth rout configuration is that of the Fender *Deluxe 5* (4-1/8 bridge rout/4 neck rout), for which there is no *known* aftermarket supplier.
