The Mexican plant burned down in 1994, and "MIM" Squier production moved to the US for a short time. It's possible some parts were saved from the Mexican plant, but it was burned to the ground.

MIA Squiers are very much parts-o-casters, clearly assembled from whatever was lying around at the time. And few are the same as one another; there is no uniform spec for any of them. Some of them are quite odd.

The serial numbers for MIA Squires are very unreliable for dating purposes, with most indicating 1989 (E9) or 1990 (due to an error N9 was printed instead of N0). The serial number doesn't tell us the colour or model, unless of course you have direct access to the database at Fender. But, other than the official colour, due to the nature of these, the specs would not be specifically revealed.
