Posts: 14 Mon, May 12, 2008 22:16:03	Tags : None I see that #2 one piece ash body on the webspecials page I bought earlier this year, amongst others also sold, and I see 2 webspecial necks that appear to be available but which are too thin for my current cravings. It has been like that a while. Has Tommy put the webspecials concept on hold to concentrate on all the Custom Orders, or might there be some new offerings soon? I know, I know. I just love the Webspecials concept; a sight unseen neck or body might be the paragon of beauty and tone, but I've never been one for "blind dates" when I can wiggle around it. Anyone have the skinny on this, or should I just call the boss and see how he's doing?

I really mean it when I say I'd rather see Tommy make some serious money on the ordered items as opposed to whatever pocket change gets made on the webspecials stuff. Kinda like dumpster diving at the Ferrari factory, that's the way I see it. I fully expect to finish and assemble far better guitars 5 years from now than I can muster right now; I prefer to save the extreme tasty bits for when I'm better at this. I have enough pieces parts to hone on for ten years, if need be. I love massaging and rebuilding these guys, playing them in. Bubbanov

Posts: 37 Sun, Jul 13, 2008 06:15:41	Everything's back up to date again, I see. I've bought 6 bodies and 3 necks since things got cooking again. This is some really nice stuff. One is a heavily striped 1 piece Fatback Tele neck with some mineral stains. $ 109. Another is a one piece 2 HB alder Tele body with black binding, front and back, and lots of flame, especially on the back, for $ 149. These one piece alder bodies are so easy to nitro; the sealing and so forth prior to the nitro is so fast and trouble free, this type of wood always gets finished out of order to its purchase sequence. 4 Teles in one piece heart alder so far from Tommy.
