Posts: 31 Mon, Mar 30, 2009 07:47:57	Tags : None Hi all...I'd like to ask a question about the users of the forum who know the Lawrences in person...do you know what they're up to in these days? I'm asking because the 24th of this month I sent them a payment for a couple of humbuckers through paypal, and I didn't hear from them since then...I also wrote to them because I wanted to have a clarification about what I could have chosen...but no answer, so far. Are they on vacation or sort of? Thanks, Alex.

We got the order via paypal on march 24th and hopefully you received the confirmation too that the funds are deposited into the account. There is no reason to change to the L-600's - stick with the L-90's.

Ok maybe we can talk here directly in the topic: the two OBLs I have are old and the plastic is brittle, therefore they can't keep the position.The rings are old too, so I thought about changing them.I was ocnsidering the L.90s and the L.600s, high inductance, 4.8 and 8.8, since I play mainly hard rock and metal, so I was looking for an advice. The guitar is the Flying V in the gallery.

Your package was dropped off yesterday, 04/14/09 and will be out and scanned into the system by later today. For us to all follow, the tracking number for your express mail package is EH686696437US and just check it's status at www.usps.com. I ordered on 1 March 2009 so you definitely have to be a little patient. But as we say here in Germany good things need time (a free translation of the original "gut Ding will Weile haben"). Lots of interesting pickups to be tested. I will be able to compare the L-290TL to the L-298TL and the L-280s to L-200s in my TSS guitar. Review will follow in due course.

I don't know where you live, but here in Germany sometimes parcels from the US take a few weeks in the customs. I also don't know which pickups you ordered: The Lawrences do the pickups in batches - sometimes it takes a few weeks to get the pickups wound. The e-mail situation is in deed a bit unsatisfying ;-) But once you know it you can deal with it. Hopefully Becky will see your posting and react. But maybe you should give a few more details (your country, the PUs you ordered) so that she'll know who you are. All the best, Vito.

The L-500's in the maroon housing are built per order and are added to the next batch of L-500's when we make more inventory. Unfortunately, our next batch of L-500's isn't scheduled in production until the end of this week. If you're willing to wait an estimated 7-10 days, then we'll ship your order no later than May 22nd. If you want another color (like black which is the most popular and we have plenty of stock) then I can ship today. If uncomfortable with the wait and situation, then you can cancel your order and I'll return your payment via Paypal asap. (P.S. we do have one cream/maroon in stock if interested. If not, then the black/maroon will be made in this next batch for you.) We're so sorry for this long wait and just let us know what you want to do.
