LH--I just registered with the board so that I could reply to your post, but as a former lurker, let me say thanks to this board for info that helped me in my decisions and to USACG for coming thru as advertised.

First, my hand size is the same as yours within 1/16" or less (my palm to middle finger is just slightly longer). I had a Warmoth standard profile w/ 10"-16" compound radius and a 1.688" nut on an Am Std Strat and had all the issues you mentioned...too flat, too wide, too thin.

I put on a USACG 1/4 sawn maple w/Indian rosewood, Texas Blues profile, 7 1/4" - 9 1/2" radius, 1.650" nut width, nitro finish...and changed my Am std 2-point tremolo bridge to a Callaham 6-point Vintage (wider spacing at the bridge).

I would say all aforementioned issues resolved. Great hand comfort w/out fatigue, easy chording in the 1st positions, lots of grip with the thumb for bends, easy to get bass notes with the thumb or extra muting with the thumb, just right in the upper fret area, very comfortable all around.

I don't know anything about Glendale but this was a perfect conversion for my strat. You might want to get some details on the string spacing dimensions at the bridge before committing to a nut width. good luck.
