LH,

Fret size was yet another reason for the change from the Warmoth to USACG. On the Warmoth, I had 6105's in SS and I was slightly disappointed in the height. They're supposed to be .090" x .055" but they measured about .050" high.

I have 6100's in NiCu on the USACG. It didn't occur to me to measure the finished height since I've been very pleased with them. The strings are 10-46 set to "medium" action. That's how I spec'd it to my guitar tech, that I didn't want low and close to the board and didn't want them excessively high. I haven't measured but I think they are on spec with the standard 4/64" (2mm) at the 12th fret.

I'm curious in what way would you diminish the neck to account for high action and tall frets?
