The tone reports on the L-200 IMO prove that it was a good decision to add it to the BL lineup. It seems, in some ways and for several players, to be complementary to the 280, which is a good thing. That said, it was to be expected that Bill has enough experience not to design a new pickup which competes directly with an existing and proven design.

So, I have to admit, the tone reports of the 200 really make me want to try one out. I'd probably still favour the clear, even characteristic of the 280, but the 200 might highlight other aspects of tone.

BTW, I asked for a resistance reading of an L-200 a while ago, AFAIK nobody responded. Could someone be so kind and measure it for me? Just my curiosity, I know that DC resistance doesn't tell much about tone. ;)
Let the thunder roll and the lightning flash, I'm doing alright for country trash.
