However;
White is start and green is end of one coil.
Black is start and red is end of the second coil.
Check with a compass which coil is which - I don't recall right now.
Blue and bare connects to ground for extra shielding, they're not connected to the coil windings.

To cut one of the coils, you simply connect red+green wires (end of both coil wires which serves as series connection) to ground- in this case via the first p/p switch. Now only the white/green coil will sound because both start and end of the other coil is grounded. To select which coil you want to keep "live", you'll have to move the hot wire instead of ground. That's what the second p/p switch will do according to the description (I can't see the picture(s))

The filter doesn't have a magnetic load, so you can connect the wires as you like.;)
