When Bill designed and began offering the L-500 pickups in the late 70's, the originals were made only in the chrome housings with wide blades. There are many pictures of Dime using these original pickups -- including Bill's all black version.

Bill and I sold to Washburn for many years and for confidential reasons, we put a hold on shipping to them. Soon afterwards, Dimebag had the pickup copied by Seymour Duncan for his Washburn guitar, known as the Dimebucker.

Why do you think Dimebag went to Seymour for his signature model instead of using your inexpensive so-called geniune USA L-500's?
