This is a '89 Gibson Explorer 90 Double. The 90 and 90 Double series were the only Gibson guitars with a 25.5" scale like Fender guitars. They built SG's, Flying V's and Explorers in this manner. This is my Explorer version.

The body is somewhat smaller than a standard Explorer and it lacks the pickguard. It's one of these rare Gibsons with a Floyd Rose tremolo system. It sounds and plays good, but the tremolo of course takes away some of the sustain and tone.

The nack pickup is an L-280 and the bridge pickup is the L-500XL.

This guitar has it's main task in highgain heavy metal stuff! *headbang* ;-)

I uploaded somewhat smaller pics that nobody has to scroll that much ;-)

Best wishes,

Vito.
