The main risk at this price is with the body ending up being plywood, not that in itself this would make the axe bad.

The Kluson-style tuners, if stock, are a good indication that the axe is probably worth a go. IF theres no skunk stripe, it just might be a JV62, but they came stock with 3-ply pickguards, and one string retainer.

Personally, I wouldnt risk more, because for $200 its possible to find an original SQ Strat.
