I'd probably get a Valvetronix or a little Orange AD15-12 myself, but then I can (hopefully) get these serviced by their local distributors. Reverend don't have a local distributor, so that's potentially problematic for me.

That said, with a tube amp, like the Orange and the Reverend, I can resort to the best amp guy in my country, who happens to be my guitar tech. The Valvetronix probably requires specialist servicing and equipment should anything major go wrong.

It seems you've analysed your options well enough, and it seems to come down to reliability of the Valvetronix. I'd do some more digging, and see if you can satisfy yourself. It might also pay to talk to your national Vox distributor, and see if they're prepared to offer you something that would put your mind at rest.
