You may know the answer to this one already Nocaster. However IMHO most times you use exotic woods you are expermenting with tone(from personal experience). So I can't be certain what would happen going this route to your wonderful hollow S body. It is a dense hard wood, but not super heavy(around Maple weight, normally). Goncalo normally has kind of a orange color to it and many times has some green, brown streaks that run through it. So it may not go well with your color scheme! Besides a full on Rosewood neck, it is the only other exotic wood I'd consider possibly doing in the future. But if your game, I'm game! It "may" have a tone to die for! Thanks as always Nigel! Tommy.
