Well guitar arrived this morning and it's fantastic! I'm actually really surprised - It has a light one piece body - i've exposed a section on the Trem cavity - looks like a light toned wood - def not plywood though. A solid looking vintage type Trem. Extremely nice slim rosewood neck and classy looking silver 'Squire' 'Stratocaster ' decals. Machine heads are 70's cluson types and work well and the pickups have slightly raised flat poles. The action/intonation is fast and perfectly set up and the tone through my little valve amp is absolutely spot on! Havn't had time to take off the Scratchplate but it seems to be shielded as there's very little buzz even when up close to my PC which is great as I'm a bedroom recorder and this is a common problem.

So far another miracle guitar from the dark days of Squire production!
