Thanks Fuzzy Beard & Nocaster
I'm getting the 450FN16. For the 1.6 Henry neck, does a Q-filter add much more than a regular tone control? Nocaster did not think it was hot enough to fully appreciate a Q-filter.
In a earlier post, Nocaster suggested that I use the 490FL48. What's your opinion on the 490FL64 XL vs. the 4.8 Henry version, with Q-filter? If I use the less hot 4.8, does that change your recommended resistor and cap values for use with the Q-filter? Any brand recommendations for the caps and resistors?
The standard controls are 2 volume, 2 tone, and a three way toggle. I am planning to use a Fender four way tele switch instead of the toggle. For the neck pup, I want to wire a mini-toggle with a .0068 cap option, for the half out of phase sound. To keep the half out of phase for the tele switch position four (bridge and neck in series), should I wire the hot or ground for the neck pup to the .0068 cap mini-toggle? If it matters, I would think hot, but I want a better opinion than my guess. Thanks
