The James Brown record cover there looks to be the Live at Apollo II, which isn't seen nearly as revolutionary or excellent. It was released in around 1968. But I never was teh biggest fan of the orginal Apollo either, it might be under 30 minutes long and some songs last a minute or so. Whizzes by too soon for my liking.

Beatles live album... I never thought of them as real live band at that point. Although there are plenty of bootlegs around (most of them studio ones, though). Lots of screaming maybe, but I don't know if the music is of the highest caliber? Is it even out on CD, btw?

I've hard many say that Kiss Alive II is the best of them.

Cheap trick... well I never could understand their greatness.
