I favor the C for soloing. I don't know about you, but my thumb shifts away from the top of the neck toward the treble side in the upper positions, and there isn't as much to grab onto with the EB for bends and vibrato. It's a subtle thing, but it's noticeable. On the other hand, the EB feels great up to about the tenth fret. It feels thicker under the thumb but positions the hand well for chords.. Thus, I'm keeping the EB for my "rhythm" guitar but have switched to a C for the more solo-oriented guitar.

FWIW, I requested a 0.05" taper.
