OK, I understand. Thank's.

But if I use your suggested 3-way switch with a push/pull for the 1/2 out of phase and go for 1/2 out of phase sound the neck pick up would also have 10% less bass would it not? This makes a live situation a bit tricky as I would have to do a lot of switching and pushin/pulling when changing from, say, a neck lead sound to a 1/2 out of phase rythm sound. So how to do if I only want the 1/2 out of phase push/pull switch to effect the middle position of the 3-way switch - both pick ups together. (You see I never use the 10% less bass option and generally don' like it) And if there is no way of doing this there are two alternatives that would be good for me:

1. to have the 5-way superswitch as recommended by Bill and try to find a useful wiring option for that last position where I currently have the 10% less bass. Maybe to have both pick ups in series if possible as this is a common sound?

or

2. To have a 3-way switch and hardwire the 1/2 out of phase (simply skip the original tele-inbetween sound). But I suppose it doesn't help. I would still get the neck pick up with 10% less bass? Or maybe there is a more advanced version of the 3-way switch that could solve this problem? Last sollution would be to custom order a switch from the company "singlecoil.com". I am sure they could construct a switch that would help me get the switching I want.
