Thanks for all the ideas,
Let me see if I understand some of this. The L-90 is "P90 like which is good because it has some chime, crang and distorts well. The L-610 is similar? And the humbucker choice is?? Fuzzy is the L-90 and L-610 lower output than the L-280's. Whoa, information overload!

I do appreciate the inputs!!! I love my Kent Armstrong P90s in my EPI LP JR and I like my JB in My Hamer Special but I don't like my single coil in my Strat bridge.

Need to make a choice.

Thanks!!

The L-90 is less P-90 like than the 610, and the 280 has lower output than both the L-610, L-80 and L-90.
All these pickups are humbuckers, as they're twin coils. The L-280 has got stacked coils, and the L-610 is a modified "sidewinder", which means it's got a narrower magnetic window than a generic humbucker. If you want fast attack, more power and better midrange response from your strat bridge pickup, go for the L-610 L. If you want a bit softer attack, the L-90 is a very sweet sounding humbucker. If you want a little more brilliance, and a humbucker very well suited for coil taps, the L-80 is perfect.
However, all of these pickups can be used for any genre of music.
