Thanks again!
I tried to post this last night but, ooops, anyway I hope this to be my last (2) questions on this issue so we can move on. I understand that both the L-90 and the L-610 are twin coils? Can the coils be split as with a "standard" humbucker? Second, I just read on another post that henries had nothing to do with output? If that is the case what henry would I order to best meld with the L-280?
AEMAN7 did not want you to think I ignored your reply. Mississippi Queen and any LW tone is great! I don't go much beyond that metal wise. My tones go bell like (Dominic Miller, Sting) to Southern Rock (38 Special, Skynard, ect) and early Clapton.
If this helps anyone help me that's a good thing!

Thanks for all the input.

The L-90, L-80 and L-600 can be spilt. Note that noise cancelling will be lost if you combine humbucker coil split with the 280 in switch poistion #2.
L-609 and L-610 are totally different designs and can not be split.
Generally speaking, lower Henry values (Henry measures inductance) means wider tonal response. At bedroom levels, higher inductance models will overdrive the amp easier. At stage levels, lower inductance means a wider tonal palette and much greater versatility.
Based on your last post, I'd pick the L-90 4H. Inductance is close to a vintage PAF, but the L-90 has none of the PAF's shortcomings.
