10-42 is a hybrid set, but just like 9-46 is widely available.

Im just saying that you need 10- on the top end for good tuning stability on a Strat trem, and I wouldnt recommend less than -42 on the bottom.

On a Tele, there are many folks that play all manner of hybrid sets.

IIRC, he [now] plays 10's, and that's what his sig Strat comes with.
