I dont think youll build anything much worth building for much less than Ive seen the real thing going for on eBay.

Theres a lot more to what makes an L6-S than a maple body, and then theres maple and maple.

I strongly suggest patience in finding an early example of the real thing! Anything less is a guaranteed disappointment!

AFAICS, dropping an L-500 in a maple Strat isnt what molkiecole is after.
