Hiya, Bfurman. Are the L600's more like a TV Jones, or a standard PAF sound? What would you compare your 2.4/3.6H set to? Got any samples we could hear?

Sorry, no samples.  I actually settled on a lighter-wound set for my own needs.  Regardless, they are not at all like TV Jones, in my opinion, and not really like any PAF I've heard either.  To my knowledge, the only PAF-like pickup Bill made was the now-discontinued L-465.  Anyway, the L-600 is less mid-scooped than the 610, yet it retains the top-end shimmer of the L-280.  The 2.4 H version is warm enough for a hollowbody but will still be considerably brighter than most PAFs.  3.6 H for ideal balance in the bridge, or go for the 4.8 H four conductor model for a bit of a boost.

Vito had some clips up a long time ago.  Don't know if they're around or if he could re-post.
