Yeah, the simplest guitar is very much like these diagrams, minus one tone pot.

It's just that when I did the L-45S straight into the jack test, I got noise on the digital gear. Something is not agreeing with the digital gear. Definitely the full ground isn't escaping through the same path. There's not doubt what this is; it's a grounding issue. Where oh where is the other ground path if there is one? And why is it perfect on the Peavey Bandit, JSX 212, Marshall DSL and Fender Twin?
