You might find that you wont need an extra cap to lower the Fr (Frequency resonance) if you use a low capacitance cable. I don't have an L600, but my older 3.6H L280SL sounds fantastically sweet and open with my 8' BL-150 cable and 250k pots, and is very versatile with just the standard tone knob. You could try a 1 to 2nF cap on the knob for a ~1.5-2kHz peak. Hard to know exactly what it will sound like until you try it. You can try a 1nF, and wire over more C if the Fr is too high for your liking. That's what I'd do.
