Andy's wiring has some issues. He really should put little loops at crossed wires to eliminate confusion. I assume the unmarked wires from the unmarked volume pot are the neg pickup leads. The blue chassis ground wires also go there. He should also indicate the actual value of the caps, rather than put things like “.o1”. It's also easy to miss the “.”. “0.01” would be better. Not a super big deal, but it doesn't hurt to be as clear as possible. You really should use a 22nF cap instead of a 47nF for the tone. Even a 22nF will be a bit dark on the L298TL, but it's OK. You can also try grounding the other tone pot lug depending on how strong you want the tone and Q-tone resonance to be. It will be a bit more pronounced if ungrounded. That's all I have to offer. Best of luck with it.
