It's a very well-regarded line of moderate to high-priced cables. I have not personally tried their stuff, but you may want to ask this question on one of
the bigger forums like HC or TGP to get more responses.
Unfortunately, how a particular cable performs with your guitar depends a great deal on the kind of (passive) pickups you're using and how much you're willing to tweak your amp's eq. It's all very interactive. I happen to like Lava's ELC cable with my rig, but cables are a highly personal choice, and budget is always a concern. You may need to try a few different ones and make your own call. The good news is that resale value is generally pretty good. However, I'd only advise experimenting after the rest of your rig is pretty much settled. -Ben |

I have, and I can hear the difference. I tried the high-end model (Lyric?) but it was just too stiff to be practical for me. The Melody is flexible and sounds
much better than any Mogami, Monster, or even Kordex (which Shoreline [ http://www.shorelinemusic...cessories/evidence.shtml ]used to sell but then switched over to
Evidence). In brief, the definition, signal to noise, tonal balance, and lack of distortion are things I have heard in my personal (non-scientific!) tests.
