Posts: 1 Tue, Sep 1, 2009 23:44:47	Tags : None Hi Guys I'm trying to order some PU's from Bill and Becky unfortunately with no luck. I e-mailed, faxed and left 2 messages on their answering machine, got no response. Are they out of business? Or did I something wrong? I do have already a L500R and a L500L which I fitted in a Reverend Gil Paris . This Guitar has also a single coil in the middle position which I would like to replace with either the L280 or the L45 to complement the 2 L500's. I would like to by both. Original I'm from Germany, but moved to Australia in January. ( just in case if I didn't use the right words or gramma ) Do they deliver to Australia and can somebody help me on this? Thanks in advance Dieter

I do not recall the overseas shipping price, but is somewhere in the area of $30.00 (USD). The only other cost I can think of is if Australia has a VAT (value added tax). Hope this helps.

I'm trying to order a set of J-45s, but as I live in Denmark and calling from my cell is really costly, I have to rely on email. Have mailed twice in a month wint no answer. Anyone with a direct connection to them, or is there a dealer I can contact?

So who is answering emails and phone calls? Seems no one is... I really hope that Lace picks up the slack on this because Bill designs and makes damn nice pickups. I'd still like to order a couple more sets myself

I don't fool with Paypal but for those of you who do, place the order this Newfangled way. I just want Becky or Bill to do only what they feel able to do - I've been there myself in a sense and I can only imagine.

Use the info on the ordering webportal to calculate shipping, etc. This is NOT the first time there's been confusion and delays in getting pickups from these folks. I've waited months in years past; the same way I'd have to wait for a hand built custom guitar. You just have to accept that this isn't musicians friend.com. You get extreme quality; you get very low prices. What you don't get are dozens of paeons, running around at the customer's beck and call.

There's no need to tell me that Bill's business isn't the biggest in the world. All it would take is for someone officially involved to make a statement on the webpage (or even just here), and everyone in our situation will know what to do. If any of you can reach them, could you please encourage that. I'm not going to send money for an order with no way of contacting the seller, no idea of wait time, no idea if the product is even still available, let alone if the business is going to continue. If you can't understand that - well, it's not I who needs a schooling.

Heck, I even sent an email to Lace sales asking if we could go straight through them for Wilde orders and they haven't gotten back to me in a week either. Posts: 6 Fri, Sep 25, 2009 16:21:34	I received on last saturday morning (September 19th) 3 pickups for my tele project (Q filter, neck: L90 2.8H, bridge: L298TL and L48TL, I don't know which one I will install yet, any advice?). It had been mailed at Corona postal station on September 15th, and it only took 4 days to arrive in France! I ordered them on August 29th, by paypal, as told on http://wildepickups.com/How_To_Order.html, but I didn't give some money for the shipping as I didn't know the price for three pickups. I asked Becky several times by email to send me a Paypal ordering notice with the S/H fee itemized. She didn't answer and I must admit I was quite afraid: the moving into the Huntington Beach facility wouldn't accelerate the manufacturing and shipping process… I received the goods and, in fact, Becky didn't request for any shipping fee! I just paid some taxes from the French customs and some paper work for the French post… I could see that Becky paid $32.50. Knowing that Becky wouldn't request this amount, I paid it by Paypal on theit web site. I am pretty sure that you will receive your pickups, even if you don't have any answers for you phone calls or your emails.

Calling Becky prior is mostly for consulting, with the order being through PayPal unless you really want to pay with credit card instead. For reference, here's an explanation of recent ongoings from the TDPRI yesterday: TDPRI wrote: I spoke to Bill yesterday and he said Becky was going to their Corona office most days to ship pickups. In fact, she was there at the time we spoke. It seems their existing inventory and shipping supplies are at the "old" office in Corona and the equipment and people etc are at the new factory in Huntington Beach. So, Becky goes over to Corona and ships products from their existing inventory. Business seems to be operating as normal as possible, doing what they can. Pretty far from a break in operations. I understand that being international makes everything a little bit more confused :/

Though, I'm told it shipped out about a month ago now. I'm only in Canada. The guitar it is intended for has a shiny new Dimarzio that I like in it. Should I ever get the Bill Lawrence I'll still try it, but I'll admit my interest has faded, and I would not recommend them to friends just based on the difficulty in obtaining the pickup.
