Owning some guitars with BL pickups i wonder if some of you players out there notice playing with a modeling amp a high harsh top end sound when playing rock and high gain presets.
i am playing over a peavey vypyr vip 1 and my superstrat with l500xl/l200/l290 with 2 pot 250Kohm 1 vol 1 tone has this problem, while a cheap SX like tele with standard pups is not as harsh.
Bill pickups are widerange so i think that this good thing turns out bad with modeling amps
now i found a BL diagram where to soften te bridge pickup of a tele a 200Kohm resistor is used.
would this be an option to get rid of that harsh high?

ore would changing pots to 500Kohm help?
other suggestions would be welcome
