O.k. so I've been meaning to post pic's of my first ever build for quite some time. I think I finished it around late February, but you know the saying - better late than never. In a way, this is my thank you to all of you for all the advise you gave me, both directly and indirectly (indirectly by reading almost every post in the last year!).
Anyway, my Silver Jazzmaster has gotten daily love since birth and I am super super happy with it. It is a hybrid between a Tele / Jazzmaster / Les Paul. Anyone out there thinking of making a guitar - you can do it - just be patient and do your research!
Here are the spec's -
* Alder Body with Reranch lacquer Inca Silver Finish
* Birdseye maple neck, pau ferro board, finished with clear lacquer
* 25 1/2 scale, 6105 frets, 12" radius, Klusions
* 3-way toggle for: bridge / both on / neck pup selection
* 1 3-way mini-switch for bridge pup: humbucking / split / parallel
* 1 2-way mini-switch for bridge pup - bass cut (same wiring as what a Fedner Jaguar has, it puts a .001upf cap in parallel) - really cool
