For most of his guitars and basses, his website states, "your choice of Bill Lawrence or [insert inferior brand name here]pickups. Other pickups available at additional cost." A google search of his website on the word "Lawrence" brings up 22 hits. Of the nine pages I looked at, 8 different guitar or bass models included the comment re using Bill's pickups.

My thinking is that this thread, or at least my initial post in it, is about guitars that guarantee the purchaser gets the Bill Lawrence package they expect, rather than promoting makers that offer the option of a Bill Lawrence package, which may or may not be approved by Bill. However, I'm happy for folks to herein post commercial offerings of guitars that offer what they believe to be genuine Bill Lawrence (not Bill Lawrence USA) pickups. Posts: 68 Thu, Oct 6, 2005 10:02:03	Hi I bought a parts made clone of a '52 Tele from builder Rob DiStefano a couple of years ago. He had put a set of Lawrence L-280TN/L-290TL in it and since I used Lawrence pickups already I was happy with his choice. I get all the Tele vibe I could ever hope for out of this guitar even though the headstock doesn't say "Fender". Kind regards, Soren
