I read here somewhere comments to the effect that chambered solid guitars don't have the "snap" of all-solid guitars. My Thinline Tele (mahogany) is not solid- not only is part of it hollow, it even has an F-hole!
Does this have any practical implications for pickup choice- like picking brighter pickups than I would normally get for a solid body, or is it a relatively minor difference and I can just go for whatever pickups I would choose as normal? R
