i'm digging the new pickups......
i thought the L-500L would be too much in the bridge, married with the 2 L-280s, but it isn't....
with the boogie i use, with gain settings, it all evens out.
when i'm doing clean tracks, i usually am not switching a lot while recording, that'd be the only time the volume balance wouldn't be happening....
I used the new USACG strat, which i've decided to call the cream machine, to do all the guitar parts.
it was a blast, to try to find new sounds..
this was the first time i've really recorded anything with it.
i'm still getting used to it, trying to learn how to play it.
the cab (1x12, celestion greenback) was miced with the ADK hamburg for the actual recording, this shot shows a AT4033)
and here's my recording setup.
i know, it's pretty modest.
the drums were done with acid.
no, i didn't take any.
i don't think......
bass was done direct with the sansamp bass di.
njoy.
