Here's a clip I made a while ago to demonstrate the Q-Filter effect. I am playing a Warmoth walnut "Double Fat Strat" with a USACG 25" scale
maple neck, L450A24 at the bridge. I start with the Q-Filter @10, then roll-back to 0 and get it up to about 3. The three sections will be obvious when you
listen to it. The guitar was fitted with 11-49s, strummed hard like I was playing an acoustic, and recorded with a Roland Cube 15 fed directly to my
computer's sound card, which might explain some of the distortion you hear.
Important : you need half-decent speakers to truly appreciate what's going on here.

Here's another one recorded 4 or 5 years ago. I don't remember the setup exactly, but I think it was the same amp as above, but with a Tech 21 Tri-O.D. pedal on the California setting (Mesa Boogie style distortion). Same guitar, but using the neck pickup this time, a L450A16. Not sure what I was trying to show off, but I remember recording that clip for this very forum, and never posted it as far as I can tell. If I did post it, I can't find the post anywhere. In any case, all you hear is me *trying* to play fast, and some decent left hand vibrato in my not so humble opinion! One thing I am certain of is that in spite of their single coil voicing, these low output pickups sound very good distorted, even in high gain setups. Here it is :

Looking forward to hear some of your clips guys!
