- The very nature of every guitar made of wood is individual.
- The way pickups and guitars are set-up and the strings used impact tone considerably.
- The use of various plectrum types, picking techniques, and fingerpicking techniques impact tone considerably.
- You will never sound like someone else through the same rig.
- The rig (cord, pedal(s), amp(s), speaker(s)) used impacts tone considerably.
- The recording method (microphone, direct) and equipment used impact tone considerably.
- The recording software and the mix determine the quality of the master recording.
- There are quality losses in the mp3 conversion process.
- All mp3 players are not created equal.
- The quality and frequency response of your output speakers impact what you hear considerably.
