Importantly, all have stood the test of time. They still go down great with audiences of broad ages. Of course, you will want to know most of those if you know you're playing to a hardcore hair metal audience, but then again, with the lines between glam and hair so blurred, I, at least, would find it hard to define the expectations of a typical, hardcore, hair metal audience.

Don't overlook YouTube as a source of videos for live performance tips.

If you look at the live performances of major artists, they rarely nail their own recorded performances. If a guitar part is too difficult for you, modify it to an extent that makes it easier but without losing its distinguishable character. Better to have a good approximation that you can play relatively easily than setting yourself up to making obvious mistakes that would detract from the overall performance.
