NEW FENDER BENT-STEEL SADDLES
The original Fender bent-steel adjustable saddles helped give our guitars their tonal mojo. We fell in love with them all over again and made improvements in the process. We've narrowed the spacing for more room and elongated the string slot to reduce friction and string breakage. Finer screw threads and leveled screw heights improve player comfort.
NEW FENDER CASES
The brand-new Fender-exclusive SKB molded case features fiberglass-reinforced nylon latches, TSA locks, multi-case stackability and a form-fit interior. You couldn't ask for better protection for your instrument. Comes with all new American Standard guitars and basses.
STRATOCASTER
The new American Standard Stratocaster guitars are beauties to behold in sound, look and feel. We kept the hand-rolled fingerboard edges, alnico V pickups and staggered tuning machines for playability, tone and stability.
What's new? The new American Standard Stratocaster HSS and Stratocaster feature:
A new bridge with improved bent-steel saddles and a copper-infused high-mass block for increased resonance and sustain.
A new neck treatmenttinted for a richer presentation, with the fingerboard buffed to a high gloss. The back of the neck still has that silky satin finish.
A thinner finish undercoat that lets the body breathe and improves resonance.
A new Fender-exclusive SKB molded case.
Two beautiful new finish options, Sienna Sunburst and Blizzard Pearl, join Olympic White, Candy Cola, Charcoal Frost Metallic, Three-color Sunburst and Black.
STRATOCASTER HSS
The hot rod of the bunch, with more output and warmth from its Tex Mex single-coil pickups and Diamondback humbucking pickup. The S-1 switch is removed to keep it simple, but don't worrywe kept key features such as the hand-rolled fingerboard edges and staggered tuning machines.
TELECASTER
The look, sound and vibe of the Telecaster resonate throughout the history and soundscapes of popular music. From orchestra pits to mosh pits; small clubs to stadiums and garages to recording studios, its signature sound is everywhere.
As with the Stratocaster, we kept the hand-rolled fingerboard edges, alnico V pickups and staggered tuning machines for playability, tone and stability.
