hands-
here's the basic gear breakdown: DAW= sonar 4 PE soundcard = Maudio Audiophile 24/96 guitar = USACG cream strat with BL 500L w/Q filter, 280 N & M amp= '81 Mesa Boogie MarkIIb 60 watt head w/GEQ cab= Roland closed back 1x12 w/ celestion greenback. drums-- drums are Toontracks EZDrummer software. i just got it. these are my first attempts at programming midi drum tracks. i'm still pretty weak in the midi department.. but in time, i'll figure it out. i process the kick with a slight compression, and every drum track gets eq'd for the particular song. Snare is the only thing in this song, that has any 'effect' on it, and that's a reverb with a lot of high end rolled off. Guitars>>Barber Direct Drive and budda wah (solo) --or-- Barber Tone press (all rhythms)>>'81 mesa boogie mark IIb 60 watt head>>Weber Mass Lite>>roland 1x12 w/celestion greenback>>Palmer PDI-09 Junction (before the weber, inbetween the weber and the speaker cab, to capture the guitar sound in leiu of a mic)>>A Designs Audio MP-1 mic preamp>>DBX MC-6 compressor>>ART DPS (convertor section only)>>Maudio Audiophile 24/96 sound card>>sonar.
