I don't know, nocaster. I've not asked Becky about it. I'm totally satisfied with my 298TL and 290TLE ![]()

Nocaster, if you look at the Wilde Collection page, it seems as if the L48 was renamed the L45T,
which I'm guessing means there's little variation between it and the L45 offered for Strat besides for the mounting.

So these pickups are not just some fantasy?
I have been trying to exchange my money for a pair since around Christmas. What is the price? If I call up Becky, will I be able to buy a set? |

It almost felt like time stopped when I saw a picture of an L-45 in Bill's website.

Hi, sunburstman
you'll find the pictures here. They may take a little time to download, depending on your Internet connection. http://www.wildepickups.com/The_Wilde_Collection.php |

The L-48 was just recently renamed L-45T, or at least so it appears. IMO the L-38 is it's neck position cousin in disguise, but I'm not sure.
Hopefully, Becky will clarify

I spoke with the Lawrences about a week ago. They told me they were making pretty significant decisions about the program. Bill's making some final designs
about what they'll offer in terms of the L45. He's also been very busy with the new micro coils designs, etc.
My guess is Bill's decisions about the program will follow the finalizing of the minicoil designs, after which the L45s will be put into production. It's a guess and I definitely don't speak for the Lawrences, but it seems like the logical progression to me. The mini-coils don't seem to far away from production either |

I just talked to Bill very briefly, he said the only difference with the 48T from the 45s is the number and the mounting base and the wait is almost over
