My first thought was, as sort of a purist, "I didn't like it". As I thought further, given my age (54), God forbid I suffer a stroke and have
limited mobility, this device could serve an extremely useful and therapeutic purpose.
Nocaster also makes a good point...I chord on guitar for "Pomp and Circumstance" during the high school graduation procession as the graduates are entering the auditorium; can you say "hand cramping"? |

Nocaster, once you receive it and have had a chance to evaluate, I'd appreciate your thoughts/comments.

Steely Dan sounds like a musician's musician. I like the E7, because it's the fundamental chord of the B-E comp in the key of D. But lately, I've been trying to play in A more. It sets yourself up for the Key of G and major sounding D solos. That's almost the same as a passing F# note in the B-E comp, but not quite. They're still both major D though. That's better than going the Jeff Beck route with oblique outside turns with Pentatonic Major/Minor 2 key signature songs. At that point, Jimmy would go chromatic in the middle of a solo anyway...and I feel the same. there's a more dignified and classical approach. You are either in a G-C comp...with F thrown in for good measure...or you are doing the B minor blues thang. Diary of a Madmen...has such a legato feel, don't you think? I think about A a lot. Problem is...practicing becomes a *itch, when the fans (for lack of a better word) try to turn your 4th amendment right to mess up...alone in the privacy of your home...turn your rights into a reality television show. And you know what? I say keep your job too. I quit. Who said my contract with a company...was a subsiduary contract to the Constitution? That's a guarantee I'll leave...before clocking in the first day.
A thousand years have come and gone, But Time has passed me by, Stars stopped in the sky, Frozen in the everlasting view. (song "Xanadu" by Rush)
