OK Folks. I bought two L-100S, somewhere around 1978. Installed one of them in a Yamaha SG1000, neck position. Anyway, this is what the L100-S sounds like. The first part is dual coil/humbucking , after approx 50 secs.

The recording: direct in on an iMac (Mic in> Garageband>no effects), so what you hear is basically the bare bones sound.
And here's what they look like:
The other pickup got mishandled by a repair guy. Tried to send it over to Bill Lawrence for repair, but they returned the package two times, with no explanation. ;-(
